Dear Friends,

Thank you for praying for us! We have had a wonderful fall watching the Lord at work. In mid-September we had great revival services with Pastor Harry and Needham’s Grove Baptist Church in Seagrove, NC. We were encouraged by tender responses and by our fellowship with the pastor and church family.

After our NC meeting, we headed back to Indiana for our home church’s anniversary weekend. We had a great time among friends celebrating God’s working in our church over the last 40 plus years.

In October, we enjoyed ministering at Faithway Baptist Church in Greenfield, IN, before heading to several meetings in Pennsylvania. What a beautiful time to be in PA! I’ve never seen fall colors so vibrant. We enjoyed returning and preaching for the first time at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Denver, PA. We had been there several years ago helping another evangelist in meetings.

We then headed to central Pennsylvania, where we held a youth conference at Victory Baptist Church in Houtzdale. Although attendance was lower than we had expected, God worked by bringing a first-time visitor, a lost teen, as well as another individual for whom attending was a significant breakthrough.

The following week, we had revival services with Bible Baptist Church in Tyrone, PA. I was encouraged to hear multiple individuals speak of the Holy Spirit’s conviction through His Word during the week. I’m also very thankful for the encouragement that God did in my heart throughout the week! It was not a week without problems, but the Lord is gracious. Our kitchen sink stopped working randomly. One of our rear dually tires broke a valve stem. The distractions are always many, but I’m thankful that He is our helper.

The first Sunday of November, we had the opportunity to minister at Olive Branch Baptist Church in Linton, IN. I preached at this church nearly 5 years ago, and it was a blessing to return and see familiar faces. Multiple individuals from the church expressed ahead of time, how they had been praying that God would guide me in the message and prepare their hearts for what they needed to hear. How amazing! I believe the Lord answered their prayers.

I’m thankful for the opportunity I had to preach at several school and college chapels over the last couple months as well. This Sunday, we are headed to preach at Hazelwood Baptist Church in Clayton, IN. Please pray for the Lord’s working in the services.

We are praising the Lord for providing our next home! I know many of you have been praying for this. Thank you! It is a 2015 Sierra 380BH5. It is larger to better accommodate our growing family. There were a number of things that needed fixed when we bought it, and we’ve been working over the last several weeks to make it ready to move into. Please pray that we are able to finish renovations and get moved in prior to our next kiddo being born.
