We are praising the Lord for a busy and fruitful summer! It is wonderful to serve the Lord! We spent the first part of the summer at the West Branch of the Bill Rice Ranch in Williams, Arizona. I was privileged to be able to preach during their staff training and for their junior and teen camps. We were also able to help lead the music for the summer and assist in a few other ways. It was such a joy to see young people with tender hearts toward what God is doing in their lives. We were excited to see juniors/teens make decisions to yield to God’s will, get rid of unhealthy influences, confess sin, get right with parents, and surrender to ministry. Most importantly we were thrilled to see 9 young people trust Christ as their Savior.

After we left the Ranch, we headed to our home church for Day Camp. We had over 60 children, ages 6-11, who heard the Gospel clearly. I was grateful to be able to preach to the kids for the first half of the week, but unfortunately I caught a sickness and had to miss the last two days. We praise the Lord for 3 children who believed on Christ as Savior!

Charissa and I are also excited to announce that we’re expecting a baby boy in December. We’re looking forward to meeting this new addition to the family!

We are always thankful for safety on our travels. A few weeks ago in Colorado we had a tire shear the studs off and fly off. In the process it also tore our fender off. Thankfully I felt it happen and was able to pull off i-70. After examining the damage, we were able to limp it about 5 miles to the nearest exit. Though we were in a very rural area, there was a auto parts store about 10 minutes away that had the parts I needed to replaced the studs and put on a spare. These aren’t super common parts, but God provided exactly what we needed! We were thankful to be safely back on the road in around 3 hours.
